The ‘‘V’’ sloped head is obviously the hot tip, but the thing that makes the ‘‘V’’ head really work is the extra large washer head design. 1/2’’ diameter washer head gives the ‘‘V’’ head stud an extra large, extra stable platform which reduces stud ‘‘wobble’’! Reducing stud ‘‘wobble’’ does two things. One, it increases traction and two, it reduces studs from being peeled out of the tire, giving you better traction for a longer time.
