Rockwall Honda motorcycle dealership is club sponsor to Chapter 99 of the Honda Rider’s Club of America (HRCA). Our club has matured into a motivated group of members diligently working together to foster a riding environment that will enable you to share your motorcycle love and enthusiasm. We invite you to join us on one or more of our rides.
We normally ride together four times a month: We plan an all day ride twice a month on selected Saturdays, and we ride a short distance to dinner twice a month on selected Thrusday evenings. We've also made longer trips. We just made our third annual weekend trip to the Hill Country in association with the HRCA Regional Event. In the fall, we'll make our fourth annual trip to Arkansas. Last summer we made a 9-day trip to the HRCA annual Honda Hoot in Tennessee. We rode some fun roads and saw some amazing sights on our trek through 10 states.
If our riding personality fits yours, then Chapter membership would be your next step. There are a couple of requirements for membership though. According to the national by-laws, you must be 18 years of age or older and you must be a member of the Honda Rider's Club of America. That requires an annual subscription which provides a magazine every two months, roadside assistance if so desired, and various discounts. The Chapter also requires a nominal membership fee equaling $1 a month. Chapter membership qualifies for selected product discounts at Rockwall Honda. Why would you want to join a motorcycle riding club? Simply because we like the wind in our face and the freedom of riding a motorcycle. Group riding provides mutual support on the road. Day trips build riding confidence and dinner rides instill camaraderie among chapter members. Weekend trips are just a lot of fun. One of our newest members summed it up eloquently: "The ride IS the destination".
The long-term success of our club depends on its membership and we're always open to new members. Even though our riding season is well under way, we have many more miles to go.
